ASUS Transformer Pad 300, that affordable piece of quad core gear we already reviewed now just got an update via OTA. This new arrival fixes several bugs and brings the usual improvements and enhanced features. We’re dealing with software version v9.4.3.30, that updates the camera firmware and offers improved stability of the Chrome browser.
Pictures will be more colourful and audio will also be better, while the white balance and autofocus of the camera will also get improvements. Continuous autofocus is improved and there’s a system fix for the bug that makes the WiFi occasionally fail to connect after resume from suspend status. Finally, there’s the app backup fix, that kills the bug requiring the user to have to write the password again after changing screen orientation.
If you don’t have the patience to wait for the update, you can go to Settings > About > System Firmware update and press the Check Update option. Did any of you get the update? How’s it working out? Leave the feedback below!
