If you want to check out the latest 10.1 inch Samsung tablet, we have a nifty showcasing of the Galaxy Note 10.1, in the video below. The surprise here is that this model comes with a Pebble blue finish, just like the Galaxy S III. Also, know that this is a quad core device, probably with the same Exynos chipset as the Galaxy S III.
There’s also an S Pen slot on board and overall the design is very similar to the one of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, that we’ve just finished reviewing these days. This model also has a plastic lid on top of the back camera area, for some reason, but it may only be a prototype feature and not the final design. It’s also good news to hear that the camera has a flash and also good to see the speakers placed on the sides, a feature that gave great volume and audio clarity to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 2.
Other things worth mentioning are the 1.4GHz quad core CPU on board, Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and the 5 megapixel camera at the back. Back in February, at MWC, when this model was announced it had merely a dual core brain, a 3MP shooter and no S Pen slot. Now all of those issues have been fixed and we truly have a powerful quad core tablet here, one to match the very appealing offers from Acer and ASUS. If only they made the screen resolution 1080p…
