There’s a rumor out there, saying that Samsung will once again switch formats and go to the 11.6 inch segment this time, with an Android 4.0 slate. The info comes from a BGR source, that hints at this larger than life Galaxy Tab, with a diagonal that even surpasses the one of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The new model is supposed to be showcased at MWC 2012 and its size will be similar to the one of the 10.1 inch tablet, thanks to a slimmer bezel. The specs list of the newcomer will include a new 2GHz dual core Exynos 5250 processor, with support for a max resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The aspect ratio for the screen will be 16:10 and the tablet will run Ice Cream Sandwich, supporting Android Beam to sync stuff with the Galaxy Nexus and much more.

There’s also a wireless docking mode for gaming apparently and this certainly sounds like a great device, if you ask me. Right now Galaxy Tab covers all types of diagonals on the market and Samsung starts with the Note in the 5 inch segment, moves up to the 7 inch one, then 7.7 inches, 8.9, 10.1 and now 11.6 inches. When will they stop?
