If you’re looking for an iPad alternative with an affordable price, then ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 is the solution. This is a 7 inch slate that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and uses a 1.4 GHz processor. Its price is 234.99 quid with VAT included.
This product will hit the market at the end of February and I guess that Clove UK will be the one selling it. ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 measures 12.6mm in thickness and supports 3G and WiFi connectivity. It also has 4GB of ROM and a 3.2 megapixel rear facing camera.
There’s also a 0.3 megapixel camera at the front and a 3400 mAh battery to juice up the tablet. So, if you want some sort of alternative to moderately priced slates like the Archos and Viewsonic ones, ZTE’s solution will save your wallet, at least till Kindle Fire arrives to the UK.
