Xiaomi has been largely inactive in the world of tablets, ever since the the Mi Pad 2 model. Rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 have been floating around ever since last year, but without material proof. Today we have some fresh intel and it seems that 2 versions are ready: Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro.

The Mi Pad 3 will keep the 7.9 inch screen of the predecessor and it’ll bring 4 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of storage and Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS. It’ll be priced at $188 in the 64 GB version and $231 in the 128 GB one. Things get interesting with the second model, the Mi Pad 3 Pro, packing a 9.7 inch screen with unknown resolution and similar RAM and storage options.

This one relies on an Intel Atom x7-Z8750 processor and it’ll run on Windows 10. The price is quite appealing at $246. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s also a stylus or keyboard in the mix to rival the 9.7 inch iPad Pro. That’s all the info we have about the products so far and they’re expected to debut in May, at the same time with the Xiaomi Mi 6 unveiling.
