Here’s your daily dose of iPad Mini rumors, that this time seem to involve an updated iPad 3 and connectivity options. Turns out the iPad Mini will come only in a WiFi version and it will arrive together with an updated iPad 3 this month. These are rumors, of course and should be taken as such.

The rumors also say that the product will be priced between $200 and $250, that seems a bit too cheap for an Apple product. Last I heard, the Cupertino giant was making more than 10 million units of the iPad Mini to sell in the holiday season alone, so they have high hopes with this product. The third gen iPad can operate on both 3G and 4G networks, while the iPad Mini will only do WiFi, according to people in the know. The same rumor says that the iPad 3 may get 4G support in the UK and a new Lightning dock soon.

The Guardian is saying that Apple will keep the iPad Mini below $300 and for that they must exclude carrier network support. We’ll see what else Apple decides to omit from the specs, maybe Retina level display or maybe a potent camera. Well, as long as the battery is good, I’m happy with that.
