Here’s your daily dose of iPad Mini rumors, that this time seem to involve an updated iPad 3 and connectivity options. Turns out the iPad Mini will come only in a WiFi version and it will arrive together with an updated iPad 3 this month. These are rumors, of course and should be taken as such.

The rumors also say that the product will be priced between $200 and $250, that seems a bit too cheap for an Apple product. Last I heard, the Cupertino giant was making more than 10 million units of the iPad Mini to sell in the holiday season alone, so they have high hopes with this product. The third gen iPad can operate on both 3G and 4G networks, while the iPad Mini will only do WiFi, according to people in the know. The same rumor says that the iPad 3 may get 4G support in the UK and a new Lightning dock soon.

The Guardian is saying that Apple will keep the iPad Mini below $300 and for that they must exclude carrier network support. We’ll see what else Apple decides to omit from the specs, maybe Retina level display or maybe a potent camera. Well, as long as the battery is good, I’m happy with that. The only thing we don’t know is when Apple will launch the device…

I love the price that the new iPad will be, or the rumored price it will be. I wouldn’t mind just Wi-Fi, but having 3G or 4G would be a lot better. I have been looking for a smaller tablet that I can carry around with me, and not be weighed down with. I have been hearing about the iPad Mini for weeks from a co-worker at DISH and now I can’t stop looking for whatever information I can find on it. I really just want it to be able to take it with me out of the house, especially with all the new shows and new fall season coming up shortly, to watch live TV on the DISH Remote Access app so I don’t have to miss any of my shows this season. I know the price will probably be more than the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire, but I am sure it will be worth it. I cannot wait until they announce the new iPad Mini.
