Vivo is preparing to launch two new foldable phones on April 3rd and apparently also a tablet, dubbed Vivo Pad 2. The latter has just leaked in a set of live images and specifications, which can be seen below.
The device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, the same CPU found on the OPPO Pad 2 and the OnePlus Pad. The Vivo Pad 2 should debut together with the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip tomorrow. The specifications of the tablet have been shared by tipster Digital Chat Station. It is supposed to have a dual camera setup, with a LED flash, a screen with large bezels and official accessories like the Vivo Pencil, Vivo Keyboard and more.
It’s also been confirmed that we’ll have the Dimensity 9000 CPU inside, which was found to offer ray tracing capabilities on the OPPO Find X5 Pro special edition last year. There should also be 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM on board and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The RAM can be expanded virtually by up to 8 GB and the slate will also run on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top. The Pad has been listed in the Google Play Support Device list with the codename PA2373.
It should have a 12 inch IPS LCD panel with 2.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and a large battery, but sans knowing the exact capacity. There will also be a version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The previous Vivo Pad had a Snapdragon 870 processor and 8040 mAh battery.
