The Vero A82i is a tablet sold in Greece and apparently the first one on that market to get updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is an Intel Atom-based slate with pretty modest specs, but somehow it’s getting the latest Android.

The A82i model has a quad core 1.83 GHz Atom Z3735F CPU inside and was promised software updates for 2 years when it debuted. On board we find an 8 inch IPS LCD display, with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, plus a 2 MP back camera and also a 2 MP front shooter. Other specs include 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

That card slot supports an extra 32 GB. VeroTab A82i has Bluetooth, WiFi, even HDMI, as well as Wireless Display. The product measures 8.9 mm in thickness, weighs 370 grams and comes with a 2 year warranty. The price tag is 119 euros. Android 6.0 will bring to this device a contextual Google Now, Doze battery mode, enhanced permissions and more.
