The Velocity Micro brand has some new products available for pre-order, the Cruz Reader (seen in the video below) and Cruz tablet. The Reader is available for $199, while the Cruz Tablet will go for $299 and sport a 7 inch TFT display.
Velocity Micro Cruz Reader comes with a 800 x 600 pixel display, 4GB of storage via SD card and Android 2.0 as the OS of choice. The Cruz tablet features a 800 x 480 16:9 display, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and an 8GB bundled SD card. This slate runs Android 2.1 and is worth the deal, considering the price and specs.
