The appealing media tablet Toshiba Folio 100 and its 10.1 inches of multimedia hotness have just been made available on the European market. The Android slate provides access to Toshiba Market Place, an app and download service. The device comes with social networking and mobile Internet, plus Adobe Flash 10.1 support.

Toshiba also launched a professional platform for developers, available here, where the experts will find tools and support for the software they create. Music Place is another service compatible with Toshiba Folio 100, as it provides a large music catalog, allowing users to download the tunes they bought and store them on the Folio 100 or keep them in a cloud solution.

    Why are they all pushing a 1024×600 res screen?

    Is there some new low-res hype going around or does Android dictate this?

    Really waiting for at least a 1280×760 screen tablets out there.
