China is the homeland for many cloned products, specially phones and tablets, mainly iPhone and iPad clones. Each time such a device comes out, the cloning process evolves and we’re heading towards an iPad twin that’s as good, if not better than the Apple best-seller. Today, we discuss the potential of TESO Lpad, a pretty good iPad clone, pictured below.
The device looks accurate, due to attributes like the aluminum trim around the edge, the squarish display aspect ratio and the famous Home button. Lpad’s display is a 10.1 inch capacitive TFT touchscreen with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. Hardware specs are pretty impressive, we have to say: a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 CPU, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and the buyer’s choice of internal memory (8GB, 16GB or 32GB SSD).
The slate weighs 730 grams and could run Windows 7 or even MeeGo, when it comes out. No info on the price yet, but this baby sure looks good.
