Remember the mysterious Taipower Teclast tablet from a few days ago, with that huge score in AnTuTu? Well, the device is back with another benchmark leak, this time 3DMark, but with a more modest result.
While in AnTuTu it beat 41k points, which hasn’t been achieved before, in 3DMark, the score is modest: 11.225 points. That’s less than the 18k reached by the likes of the Galaxy Note 3 for example, but still an above average score. A picture of the slate also surface, showing a metal ring around the edges and a dual stereo speaker setup at the back. The Taipower Teclast is said to have a metal body and polished body frame.
This model is getting a lot of leaks, so there must be something special about it. I’m guessing it’s either powered by Intel’s quad core 64 bit CPU found on several other Chinese slates, or maybe the Rockchip RK3288, or perhaps the Allwinner A80 chipset. We’ll have to wait and see…
