Sharp has just unveiled a brand new 10.6 inch 3D display, that can be used without glasses on devices like e-book readers and tablets. Technical details are hard to find right now, but as far as we know Sharp’s LCD is in prototype stage and the users will be able to switch between 2D and 3D images by pressing a button.

This technology is most likely based on the “Mobile 3D Display” unveiled by Sharp 10 days ago. Just like the 3.4 inch display, this 10.6 inch 3D unit is very thin and we’re looking forward to seeing it enter mass production. The same company also unveiled a 3D TV based on a similar system.
