The Sharp Galapagos A01SH Honeycomb tablet just took off in Japan, courtesy of mobile carrier e-Mobile. This is a dual core Tegra 2 1GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

There’s also a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen incorporated and Android 3.2 as the Honeycomb flavor of choice. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera in the mix, a 5MP camera at the back with autofocus and LED flash, plus GPS and WiFi b/g/n. Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 3G (via the carrier’s modem) are also available.

Luckily, we should expect an international release of the slate as well, this month as well. What about the other Galapagos slate?
