We already knew that we could expect the Galaxy Note 4 to be launched next month, but today we get a clear timeline of that debut. Samsung has started sending out invitations to an Unpacked September 3rd event, during which they could unveil the new phablet.
The event takes place during IFA 2014, an event in Berlin that lasts a week. The show starts early, at 14:00, unusual for Samsung, who likes to unveil stuff during night time events. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been leaked and rumored only a bit so far. It’s said to feature a 5.7 inch QHD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 805 processor or an Exynots 5 Octa octa core processor, depending on the region of the world you’re in.
We also get a 16 megapixel camera on board, probably one with a Sony sensor. We could also get special features like a retina scanner or an ultraviolet light sensor. Another model that could come at IFA is the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, that could steal a bit of the spotlight for the phablet. What nobody is talking about is the stylus of the new device, that hasn’t been detailed in any way. I expect even more features to be included in the mix with the new S-Pen.
