Samsung Galaxy S II has been getting the Jelly Bean update on some devices in Spain already, but there’s no word on the release of the same software for the device’s bigger brother, the OG Galaxy Note, the GT-N7000 model. Back in December we found out that said update had been postponed till 2013.
The rollout process is closer than ever, at least in the UK, where the Samsung website for this phablet has been updated with new information. The support page of the GT-N7000 now includes a new user manual, that’s dated January 25th 2013. It also references JellyBean and it’s apparently an updated version of the original manual, changed to reflect the new features brought by the update, that includes Google Now, among other features.
For now there’s no sign of S Voice or camera upgrades and we can’t guarantee you’ll receive the cool multitasking from Galaxy Note II, since I know many of you are hoping to get that. Smart Stay could also come, as well as Pop Up Play, with the latter already making its way to the Galaxy S II. I guess that the Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update is not that far now…
