There’s a new WiFi certified device, a Samsung mystery device codenamed GT-N5100, that’s most likely a tablet. Speculations say it could be a 7 inch Galaxy Note, maybe a Galaxy Note 7.0, The product doesn’t have any other specs or details associated to it and the idea of a 7 inch Note would mean a pre-emptive strike from Samsung to the iPad Mini.

The South Korean Galaxy series creator should be careful with the pricing of this model, otherwise they will fail hard. 7 inch tablets are extremely well priced nowadays and you only have to look at the Kindle Fire models and Nexus 7 to get an idea. Samsung can’t beat the $199 price tag, but they may offer something extra, like a back camera, S Pen, microSD storage or maybe 3G connectivity. In case this is actually not the Galaxy Note 7.0, it could be the rumored 2500 x 1600 screen slate, that has been in the news since CES 2012 this year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 may be a very potent tablet, but many people complained about case quality, high price and the lack of a Full HD screen. Samsung could stun us all and deliver a Full HD resolution on a 7 inch tablet, although that’s pretty much what Amazon is doing these days…
