Just a few hours ago we saw the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 leaking with a pretty predictable design, that didn’t exactly bring much novelty. Now here comes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to shock us by having a notch, much like the MacBook Pro 2021 one.

This odd leak comes courtesy of OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, two legit sources who have been right most times in the past. The Tab S8 series was rumored for a while to debut in the second part of 2021, only to be moved in February 2022, with the Galaxy S22 series. It will end up being a series of 3 devices: Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. The Tab S8 Ultra pictured here has a rather small notch and also a dual back camera, probably a combo of a 13 MP sensor and a 5 MP or 8 MP ultrawide shooter, with LED flash also in the mix.

It’s odd for us to see that notch, but one can only guess we’re getting a superior face unlock sensor of sorts. The front camera may also be upgraded past the usual 8 MP shooter. The device has narrow bezels and a body made of metal, with cutouts for the antennae. It also has a special are at the back, where the stylus attaches magnetically. @OnLeaks also mentions that the Tab S8 Ultra will ship with a giant 14.6 inch screen, the largest on a mainstream tablet so far.

It’ll have a 120 Hz AMOLED panel, a huge 12.000 mAh battery and inside will tick an Exynos 2200 heart, together with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. Expect a hefty price, perhaps even past $1500.
