Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 was a bit of a beast last year, as the tablet was both a multimedia powerhouse and a productivity tool of the best sort. It was pricey, but it was worth it. Now fresh after unveiling the Galaxy Tab A 8 2019 with S Pen, Sammy wants to offer us a Galaxy Tab S5.

We’re far from debut time, so all we have right now are rumors and leaks. XDA Developers has found hints about the slate in the source code of the Galaxy Fold. The device appears to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, which is a surprise, since that one is present on the Galaxy S10 as well.

Usually, Galaxy Tab devices sport an older flagship CPU compared to the Galaxy S and Note series of that year. Tab S4 for example had a Snapdragon 835 CPU, not the S845. On paper, the Tab S5 should debut in 6 months or so, or maybe close to the Note 10 debut time.

An improved S Pen is expected, perhaps inspired by the Note 10 one, with or without an included camera. Narrow bezels are a given, as well as a keyboard accessory, 4 speakers tuned by AKG/Harman and maybe also a 5G version. I expect 8 GB of RAM inside and powerful cameras.
