Remember the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2? When it debuted it was fantastically slim, at just 5.6 mm in thickness. The product came in 2015 and it was only recently followed by the Tab S3. Well, you’ll be happy to know that both diagonal sizes of the Tab S2 have received Android 7.0 Nougat this week.

Samsung already took care of its higher end phones and now it’s tackling tablets. The Android Nougat update is now rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T715) in Italy and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (SM-T810) in Germany. I suppose that the whole Europe is getting the same treatment, with a priority for WiFi models. This update also brings Game Launcher with it.

This feature lets you record your gameplay, with varied resolutions and tweak some of the gaming experiences, so you won’t be bothered when playing. Other extras include a fresh UI, improved performance, better looking notifications and Quick Settings buttons. The multi window mode improves now and all of those features should come via OTA soon enough.

Manual downloads are done from here, if you have the Odin tool.
