Samsung’s Galaxy Premiere event is taking place in just a few hours, being live streamed from the Madison Square Garden in New York and in the meantime we have a fresh leak of the Galaxy Tab S. The device has been pictured in a few hands on shots, in all of its glory, with flip covers included.
The flip covers rely on the proprietary connectors embedded in the back panel of the tablet. The Galaxy Tab S models are the world’s first devices to use Super AMOLED 2560 x 1600 pixel displays and also Samsung’s first tablets with fingerprint sensors. They will rely on octa core Exynos 5 processors with big.LITTLE technology, 3 GB of 32 bit dual channel RAM and will offer an 8 megapixel back camera with Full HD video capture.
There’s also WiFi on board, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass and an infrared blaster. The OS here is Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the latest Magazine UX on top. Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes with software features like Ultra Power Saving Mode, Remote PC and it can even make calls when connected to a phone. Who’s excited for the launch?
