After being showcased ahead of all the other Galaxy Tab 3 units, the Tab 3 7.0 is getting some more colors versions, such as the gold-brown one shown below. The device was announced back in April, initially in white and I expect more colors to be available soon.
The product measures 9.9 mm in thickness, weighs 306 grams and gets a capacitive TFT display with a 7 inch diagonal and a 600 x 1024 pixel resolution. It also has a microSD card slot, 8/16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and supports HSDPA 21 Mbps connectivity. Bluetooth 3.0 is also here, as well as HSDPA 21 Mbps and at the back we find a 3.15 MP cam.
Upfront there’s a 1.3 MP shooter and the brain of the slate is a dual core 1.2 GHz CPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and relies on a Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery, a non removable unit. I can’t help but wonder if this device has cellular capability or if it can make calls since there’s no call button on the screen.
