Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is the latest tablet we’re testing these days and this model has arrived recently, putting great strain on our hands. It’s a massive and bulky device, a 12 inch tablet, the likes of which we’ve never tested before. Let’s see its unboxing!
This device was announced in January this year, released in March and it comes with a price tag of $647 on Amazon. This is an octa core model we’re dealing with here, available inside a wooden texture box. Inside it we find the charger, microUSB 3.0 cable and manuals. The device integrates a 12.2 inch TFT LCD display, with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, an octa core Exyos 5 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.
The 8 core chip involves a quad core 1.9 GHz part and a quad core 1.3 GHz part as well. We’ve got an 8 MP back camera with LED flash, a front 2 MP cam, a 9500 mAh battery and 32 or 64 GB of storage. The slate offers infrared connectivity, so it can be used as a TV remote and it also comes with MHL, GPS, Glonass and Android KitKat. The tablet measures 7.95 mm in thickness, weighs 750 grams and has a stylus nestled on the side.
One of its essential features is splitting the screen fourways for hardcore multitasking. We’ll be back with a full review ASAP.
