After months of leaks, certifications, and speculation, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+—two new midrange tablets that aim to strike a balance between performance and value. While not flagship-tier, these devices still bring some compelling upgrades, including larger displays, slimmer builds, and integrated Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a 10.9-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the larger S10 FE+ pushes things further with a 13.1-inch panel—that’s 12% larger than its predecessor and even bigger than the 12.4-inch display on the Tab S10+.

Despite the size bump, both tablets are slimmer than their 2023 predecessors, measuring just 6mm thick, and the standard FE model has also dropped some weight—497 grams compared to 523g previously.

Powered by Exynos 1580 with RDNA2 Graphics

At the core of both devices is Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, the same SoC found in the Galaxy A56, featuring ARMv9 CPU cores and RDNA2 graphics from AMD. Users can choose between two configurations:

– 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
– 12GB RAM + 256GB storage

Both variants also include a microSD slot for expanded storage.

Rugged Build, Decent Cameras

Both models come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The front houses a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the back sticks to a single 13MP shooter. Power-wise, the Tab S10 FE packs an 8000mAh battery, and the FE+ scales up to 10,090mAh, with 45W fast charging support across the board.

Galaxy AI Features & Stylus Support

Samsung is bringing several AI-powered features to the FE line this year, including:

– Circle to Search
– Solve Math (for solving equations and math homework)
– Object Eraser
– Best Face (for perfect group photos)

Both tablets ship with an S Pen, although it’s a passive stylus without Bluetooth (similar to the one bundled with the Galaxy S25 Ultra). Samsung also offers Smart Book Covers and two types of keyboard cases as optional accessories.

Productivity Apps Preinstalled

Out of the box, the Tab S10 FE and FE+ come with a generous suite of creative and productivity apps:

– LumaFusion
– GoodNotes
– Clip Studio Paint
– Noteshelf 3
– Sketchbook
– Picsart

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3, and optional 5G variants for both models.

Pricing & Availability

Both tablets launch on April 3, available in gray, blue, or silver finishes.

The addition of Galaxy AI smarts might just be the push these midrangers need to stand out in a crowded tablet space.
