At the very beginning of 2015, several Chinese producers like Cube or RAMOS introduced on the market tablets with Intel Core M processors, and now there’s another player in sight, more precisely PIPO. This one announced today a 11.6-inch slate called Pipo K2 that packs the same Core-M solution.
This kind of processors are based on Intel’s 14 nm production process and they offer a 60% lower thermal design point with up to 20-40% faster performance than the current-generation CPUs, and allowing very thin and fanless tablets.
In terms of specs, we get to know that Pipo K2 offers a 11.6-inch Full HD display, 4 GB DDR3 RAM memory, a microUSB 3.0 port, a microHDMI port, a 3.5-mm audio jack and also a microSD card slot. For the moment we don’t know the prices for this device.
