PIPO has made a name for itself by launching affordable tablets with solid specs and today they have a new product out. It’s dubbed PIPO X8 and it brings the functionality of a slate, as well as a mini PC and TV Box even.

The basic device has a 7 inch screen with an IPS panel and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Bluetooth 4.0 as well as at least 4 USB ports and Ethernet are all here. WiFi and HDMI are included, plus microUSB, a microSD card slot and a DC-12V port. The X8 also brings a Power/standby key and uses a physical volume rocker. This product is based on both Windows 8.1 and Android and relies on an Intel Bay Trail Z3736F CPU of the quad core kind.

Clocked at 1.33 GHz, the chip can also get to 2.16 GHz in Turbo mode. Specs include 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and the X8 Box allows the users to switch between Android 4.4 and Windows 8.1 whenever they please. The 32 GB X8 is priced at around $97, which is quite a bargain. It hits the market next month.
