The company Videoservice, that totally doesn’t a ring a bell to us launched a tablet in Russia under the brand Perfeo. This slate is not bad at all, especially thanks to its high resolution display and powerful battery. We’re dealing with a device that has a 9.7 inch Retina Display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The slate is called Perfeo 9726-RT and it will be available starting February 23rd 2013, with a price tag of $293. It comes with preinstalled social networking apps for the Russian market, stuff like Skype or Yandex services and more. It also has a dual core RK3066 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, two cameras and a microSD card slot, plus USB port, WiFi and Bluetooth.
This product measures 9.9 mm, so it’s reasonably thin, it weighs quite a bit, at 660 grams and uses a 1.6 GHz CPU that we mentioned before, with Mali 400 MP4 GPU. The battery here is an impressive 10.000 mAh unit, that will give you long hours of functioning time. It’s actually pretty close to the battery capacity of the iPad 3, if I’m not mistaking. Too bad we don’t get a quad core CPU on this device…
