If you’ve got restless hands and you drop stuff while trying to handle the speedy modern world, then you may want to consider a Panasonic rugged ultrabook. Panasonic just debuted the 11.6 inch AX3 ultrabook, a foldable laptop with Windows 8 and rugged case.

The product comes with a 1080p screen, that folds over, just like the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga and the Dell XPS 11. The specs of this model includes an Intel 1.8 GHz Haswell chip, 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. All of that is found in a package that weighs 1.14 kg and Panasonic promises to deliver 13 hours of battery life.

The AX3 is able to survive a 2.5 foot drop and it can even withstand 100 kilograms of weight, if you feel the need to jump on top of your computer. We’ve got not pricing for this model, but it’s most likely that it will come at IFA 2013 , for a longer demo session, that may involve some dropping on the floor.
