The rumors about Nokia’s phablet are back, this time alluding to a device that resembles the Galaxy Note from Samsung. Supposedly, the new model will be released in July and it will pack a 5+ inch display.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of such a device, since many months ago a model dubbed Juggernaut, that fit the description of a phablet appeared on the web, in name only. Nokia was also rumored to unveil a tablet for at least a year or more, but they never came true. The phablet theory may hold water, since Nokia’s biggest phone right now, the Lumia 920 is only 4.5 inches in diagonal, while Samsung is way past the 5 and even 6 inch threshold.
Inside sources and reports are saying that the device will work as both a phone and a tablet, fitting the phablet description. Nokia is also expected to release a 41 megapixel Pureview Lumia phone in July, the same time frame when we may see the phablet, the Lumia 928 and who knows what other goodies…
