The Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet is now priced at a very appealing $249.99 in the 32 GB version, available on the AT&T site. The device is being tested by us right now and it will be reviewed in a few days.
The good news here is that Nokia adds only $50 for extra 16 GB of storage, unlike Apple, who adds much more. This is a 6 inch Full HD phablet with a top of the line Snapdragon 800 CPU and a powerful 20 megapixel Pureview camera. We’ve also got 2 GB of RAM on board, a microSD card slot and a nano SIM slot as well.
Closer to a tablet than a phablet, the Lumia 1520 is the most powerful Nokia unit right now and it will probably remain so, at least until next month, when at MWC 2014 we could see newcomers from the same company. It also has some cool apps on board like Story Teller, Smart Cam, Pro Cam and the usual navigation suite.
