After we previously saw a first unboxing of the Nexus 9 tablet, today we get to know that the slate in case is now on sale inside the Google Play Store only in the Wi-Fi version. However, not everyone we’ll be able to buy the tablet as is available only for selected markets that can be found at the end of this article.

This tablet is available in black or white with 16 GB space of internal storage or 32 GB. While the 16 GB version can be bought for just $399, for the 32 GB variant we have to take out of our pocket $479. As we found out, Nexus 9 will get a third color that will be present only on the cellular variants.

Among the specs of this slate we have a 8.9 inch display with a 2.048 x 1.536 pixel resolution, a Nvidia Tegra K1 64-bit processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, a 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.6-megapixel front-facing sensor, BoomSound stereo speakers and a 6.700 mAh battery.

  • This tablet is certainly tempting. Shame about the unattractive wide bezels and the excessive weight – 425 grams versus the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4’s 295 grams.
