Motorola has apparently been working on a new tablet. The HC100 just hit FFC and it’s described as a “Touch Tablet with WiFi.” We have little information at this time about the hardware configuration of the device.
The naming of the device suggests that it will probably feature a 9″ or 10″ display. As for connectivity, we now the device has Wi-Fi and that is about it. There are a lot of things to consider when analyzing a new Motorola tablet. We know the manufacturer makes their devices separate from Google. That does not mean the new device won’t be running Android Jelly Bean. Quite the contrary, we could see one of the first tablets to run Android 4.1 coming from Motorola. Given the probable screen size, it is likely that the HC100 will feature a powerful configuration. Maybe a Tegra 3 chipset, to keep the costs at bay. I am sure further info will surface very soon and we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
