In a move that could suggest that Apple doesn’t care about British customers, the Cupertino giant decided to delay the orders for the new iPad of the people from UK. The report comes from a couple of customers in UK who already ordered the new iPad after launch and saw their orders delayed by days.

Instead of the shipping window of March 16-19, customers now have to wait till March 20 or 21st. The problem here may be that Apple tries to meet the demand in USA and ship their products first. Numerous customers in the USA have received their shipment notifications for iPad orders and are happy with it. Of course, Apple will try its best to actually give the majority of British customers their orders around the 16th, but as usual, there will be some unlucky folks.

As far as new orders go, in the States the 16 GB WiFi iPad has had its ship date moved, now to March 19th. A couple of AT&T 4G LTE units are also listed as shipping on the same date. Knowing Apple as I do, I say they’re prepared for the avalanche of first orders and already ordered millions of units, to be on the safe side, so need to worry guys, you’ll get your products on time, complete with Retina Display, LTE, 5MP camera and A5X CPU.
