Sony hasn’t been unveiling many ultrabooks or tablets lately, but now they’re preparing to let loose a hybrid, if the video below is to be taken seriously. It’s pretty grainy for a presentation video for a new product…
This mystery ultrabook slider packs a 13 inch display, with the brand new Triluminous technology and Full HD resolution. The video is supposedly being used for training at UK retail chain Dixons. In it you can see the device being open and a stylus being used in Fresh Paint. Other features mentioned in the vid are a “SurfSlider design”, backlit keyboard, ClearAudio+ and ActiveSleep technology, plus 10 hours of battery life.
NFC and an 8 megapixel cam are present (with Exmor RS sensor), as well as an Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD. It would be about time that Sony got on board the Windows 8 train in 2013, since last year they had a few interesting devices in this area.
