This week was all about the MWC 2022 launches and TCL seems to have been a big name there, albeit I personally couldn’t find their booth. They brought a slew of new tablets in Barcelona, including some 5G units. The core launches include the TCL NxtPaper MAX 10, the Tab 10s 5G and a bunch of Tab 10 models. Let’s see what they have to offer, courtesy of Mobilissimo.ro.

TCL NxtPaper MAX 10

TCL NxtPaper MAX 10 is a 10.36 inch slate with a Full HD+ resolution, that includes multiple layers. It’s got an anti glare glass meant to reduce reflections and the screen is engineered to look and feel like paper for a comfier reading and writing experience. That’s done using an A-Pen stylus. The tablet runs on the older Android 11 and has the TCL Kids feature as a special platform for little ones, with education and entertainment in mind. It’s got an 8000 mAh battery too.

This is a device that comes in 4G and Wi-Fi only versions and it’ll be sold in Asia in the middle of Q2 priced at around $300.

TCL Tab 10s 5G

This is basically the Tab 10s 4G with a connectivity bump. It’s powered by a MediaTek chipset with 5G and two Cortex-A78 cores, clocked at 2.4 GHz. There’s also a Mali G57 MC2 GPU and a 5G modem. The device has a pretty old school look, at least judging by its beefier bezels and diagonal striped back. There’s also 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot.

On board we find a 10.1 inch IPS LCD panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and an 8000 mAh battery with 18W charging. There’s a charger in the box, by the way. Specs also include a 5 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP back shooter, plus Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and dual speakers. It’ll go on sale in Q2 for $400.

TCL Tab 10 FHD 4G

This affordable 10.1 inch 4G tablet uses an IPS LCD 1920 x 1200 pixel display. It also runs on Android 11, with the TCL Kids feature in the mix. It drops down the battery to 5500 mAh and it charges at 10W. This means it needs 3 hours and a half to reach 100%. TCL Tab 10 FHD 4G is powered by a MediaTek chipset and uses an octa core A53 CPU with PowerVR GE8320 GPU The chip is connected to up to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, expandable via microSD.

It has 4G connectivity (Cat 4), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and an USB-C 2.0 port, plus a 3.5 mm audio jack. Dual speakers are also in the mix and two 5 MP cameras, one front, one back. This device comes to Asia in March for $250.

TCL Tab 10 HD

The most basic of the offerings here is the TCL Tab 10 HD, a 10 inch 1280 x 800 pixel slate with an IPS LCD panel. The 5500 mAh battery with 10W charging is also here, plus two 5 MP cameras, one front and one back. It has the same MediaTek CPU as the model above and comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of stroage, plus Android 11. There’s even an Android 11 Go Edition with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, plus microSD.

It has 4G connectivity and a starting price of $200.
