ZTE already has some appealing Android-based projectors, but they decided to release a new one at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. The device is called ZTE Spro Plus and pairs a projector with an 8.4 inch screen, turning the whole thing into pretty much a tablet.
On board we find an 8.4 inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 801 processor and optional LTE connectivity, as well as 128 GB of expandable storage. This is basically a bulky midrange tablet that’s able to project 80 inch images on a wall. Promoted as a machine for presentations and conferencing, the product has an optional USB camera and can also come in handy for binge watching.
The price is not known just yet, but may be more affordable than your average projector. There’s a 12100 mAh battery on board and the above mentioned screen offers a Quad HD resolution. There’s WiFi in the mix and JBL acoustics, plus Harman sub miniature microphones.
