While the $700 price tag for the Motorola LTE XOOM tablet may have discouraged many potential customers, you’ll have time to save money for the product, since Moto just announced that it’ll debut at the end of February. A LTE version will also be available at the end of the summer.
XOOM is a dual-core Android 3.0 tablet with a 10.1 inch display and 1GB of RAM that has what it takes to conquer the market and rival the iPad, provided that Verizon cuts enough of the slate’s price to make it appealing. This device was first seen at CES 2011, where it was officially unveiled and we’re looking forward to get this Tegra 2 beauty in our hands.
