With the iPad 2 now official we can return to the other important tablets out there and see what they have prepared for us. Motorola Xoom is one of those major iPad rivals to keep an eye on and we just found out that the slate is even more appealing. This dual core Android 3.0 Honeycomb device took off last week and now it’s getting some appealing price offers from Costco and Sam’s Club.
The most surprising price tag is the $539 that you’ll pay for the XOOM at Sam’s Club, according to Android Community and Droid Life. At Costco, the Motorola tablet is on sale starting from $589.99 with a 2 year contract, that includes a $50-80 per month rate plan. If you opt for a 2 year contract on a $20-25 per month rate, the pricing reaches $639.99.
Without contract, we’re back to the usual $789.99 and one thing we don’t know is if the model on stock is Wi-Fi only or the 3G/4G version.
