After being overclocked to 1.6 and 1.7GHz, the Motorola XOOM has not received its first custom ROM, courtesy of the work done by XDA Developers community member bigrushdog and the Tiamat Team. The ROM is dubbed XOOM Rom 1.0 Deodexed and the software is quite advanced.

The problem is that the software is based on a stock version of the XOOM software borrowed from the Verizon 3G unit. This means that if you install it, you’ll break the 3G service, if you’re a Verizon Wireless client. The full instructions and features are available in the XDA source link below. It seems Cyanogen also supplied some scripts for this ROM, so it’s trustworthy.
