Motorola may have launched a few Xoom tablets a decade ago, but now it’s keeping far from the segment, at least outside India. In India they do have a few models available. Now there’s a new model coming, the Moto Tab G84, which has just been rendered.
The Moto tablet will be launched in India and it’ll be a successor to the already existing Moto Tab G70, which debuted in January last year. The renders that appear here show the brand new design of the device. There will be quite thick bezels on all 4 sides of the device.
The tablet will integrate a landscape-oriented selfie camera and as far as the back of the slate is concerned, we’re dealing with a metallic body with a dual tone color. It’ll also have an 8 megapixel camera, a single one, at the back side, with a flash.
The upper part of the tablet back hosts a small cut out, used for a magnetic connector and a stylus pen. The Moto logo is positioned centrally and the slate, while being a budget model, comes with JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There’s even a Pogo PIN connection at the bottom with 3 contact points.
It works as a docking interface for a keyboard accessory. On the right side of the tablet there are two speakers and an USB-C port. We have no specs for the device, but we do expect an entry level Snapdragon 4 series CPU, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
An 11 inch screen and 8000 mAh battery are likely.
