Last week during the Windows 10 Consumer Preview launch event, Microsoft also unveiled the Project Spartan browser, this one being the platform that is going to replace the Internet Explorer 11. Even if this app is expected to be introduced in the full Windows 10 version, until now its official name is unknown.
However, through a survey we get to know that Project Spartan could be named Internet Explorer Edge, or maybe Microsoft Edge. Also, the list with possibile variants include names like: Entourage, Elixa, Evo, Evex or Endeavor, name that will be accompanied by on of these three other surnames: Microsoft, IE, or Internet Explorer.
As we previously found out, this new browser developed by Microsoft brings Cortana integration, the feature that allows the browser to work as an app store, and the possibility to save portions of a web page to save and read/use it later.
