As you may know, at the previous Microsoft launch event it was almost sure that the show was going to be the place where the Microsoft Surface Mini was going to be announced, but this didn’t happened, even if the press invite let us know this. Today, we get to know that the Mini tablet was real at some point, but it never saw the light of day.
According to some rumors, it seems that Microsoft decided to delay the Surface Mini tablet from unknown reasons. If the mini tablet was going to be released on the market, it should pack some specs like a 8-inch HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM memory and a microSD card slot.
Other specs could include a USB port for external flash drives, Stylus support and Windows RT 8.1 as default operating system. It remains to see if we’ll ever see a Surface Mini tablet from Microsoft in the near future, or fi the company is going to keep in focus the big-screen sized tablets from the Pro range.
