Microsoft is starting some very good deals on the Surface 2 and Pro 2 models, for the holiday season. They also have a video promo going, filled with promises of discounts and reduction. While the video may be private, we dissect what we know below.

Microsoft is offering a 12 Days of Deals sale at their physical stores, starting on the 9th of the month. Their first deal involves the Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet, that gets discounted to a mere $199, or even $99 if you’re among the first 20 customers. Microsoft also just posted an ad to its Microsoft Store YouTube page, but the deals they’re mentioning are not actually that sweet.

They insist on Day 6 of the promotion, which is December 14th. On that day, the Surface 2 complete bundle will be priced at $149 and the Surface Pro 2 will be priced at $249. We wonder what a complete bundle, so here’s what happening. The ad shows a Surface 2 bundle with an Incipio case, Type Cover 2, a $25 gift card to the Windows Store, while the Surface Pro 2 gets the Incipio screen protector, Office 365, Surface Pro 2 and Type Cover.

The trick is that we actually get those devices with reduced prices, not free bundled gear. The Type Cover is $129, the Incipio Case is $34.99 and then there’s also a $25 Gift card. Too good to be true? It usually is.

Definitely too good to be true but at least the $250 time deal sounds realisticrealistic and it good to see Microsoft testing the magic price point! Hopefully it can overcome much of the bad publicity tracting from the whole RT fiasco.
I picked up a dell pro 8 for the reduced 249.00 some four weeks ago from the Microcenter and what a nice tablet ! If this offers for 150.00 and anyone out there has a chance at it, grab it, you won’t regret. Even the SSurface pro at 250 with bundle is rather attractive and I hope we will see this price again next year.

Is this promotion only in USA? Can we buy It online? Anyone knows How many SP2 do they have? Will there be a gigant line before a Microsoft store?
