The Redmond giant has set up a new Surface Commercial Order Site, where MS allows select customers to buy Surfaces, accessories and other products related to the slate. You should know that the times for delivery may vary depending on the inventory. Previously Microsoft had problems holding on to enough units for regular customers, especially the 128 GB Surface Pros, that were a very rare item, even in the Microsoft Stores and retail partners.

The latest rumors regarding the Surface state that MS is supposed to have sold about 1.5 million Surfaces to date, including 400k Pro models and the rest RT models. Canada and USA are the only areas where the Surface Pro has been sold so far. The new commercial site also mentions a “Surface Extended hardware Service Plan”, that may be a version of Microsoft Complete. The plan is available for both Pro and RT models and extends the hardware warranty up to 3 years.
