As an iPad Mini owner I have to say it’s hard to find proper accessories for your device nowadays. Lucikly good old Logitech jumps to the rescue with its Ultrathin iPad keyboard cover, now taken to the level of the iPad Mini. Last year Logitech released the very popular and appreciated Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad and now it’s back with a mini version.

The 7 inch aluminum design keeps the allure of the predecessor, but sports some modifications. For example, the microUSB charging port has been switched with the Bluetooth button, as far as placement is concerned. Users will click the keyboard cover into place through its integrated magnets to protect the device when not in use, or snap it apart and start typing. The smaller keyboard will give you 3 months of use on a charge, compared to the 6 months of the full size Ultrathin.

So far we have no idea how it feel to type on such a keyboard cover, maybe an indication to a future smaller Surface Tablet from Microsoft, if you ask me. Things will definitely get cramped up, but people used to type on 3 inch screens, remember that. The product launches this month, it’s priced at $79.99 and detailed below in the video.
