LG had a big event planned for today, in South Korea and it all went down as expected. The company unveiled the LG G Pro 2 phablet, the follow up to the highly praised LG Optimus G Pro. The newcomer is a 5.9 inch device, that will be showcased at MWC 2014.
The LG G Pro 2 stands out through its 13 megapixel camera, able to do 120 FPS HD video recording and 4K video capture. It also comes with a 5.9 inch Full HD IPS screen, a 13 megapixel camera and a front 2.1 MP shooter. We’ve got a quad core 2.26 GHz processor inside, as well as 3 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 or 32 GB of ROM.
Specs include a microSD card slot too, as well as a removable 3200 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The device measures 8.3 mm in thickness, weighs 172 grams and will come in 3 colors: white, red and titan. There’s also a bunch of new features here, like the Knock Code, that allows you to unlock the screen with a morse code style series of taps.
