LG just launched the LTE version of the G Pad 8.0 tablet today, that comes with some of the most appreciated features of the LG G3 handset. This slate model adopts the same UI as the G3 and supports QPair 2.0, that allows users to connect via Bluetooth to their smartphones, in order to take calls for example.
LG G Pad 8.0 LTE features Touch & Shot functionality, that makes it easier to snap a fast pic by touching any part of the screen. There’s also Gesture Shot, that allows you to take selfies in a more fun and intuitive way. You can open or close your palm in front of the cam to start a 3 second countdown before the selfie is taken. The same slate comes with the famous Knock Code, a knocking pattern that locks and unlocks your device, plus Smart Keyboard, that decreases erroneous typing by 75%.
LG G Pad 8.0 LTE integrates a 1280 x 800 pixel display with an 8 inch diagonal and an IPS panel, plus a quad core 1.2 GHz processor inside, 16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. This model has a 4200 mAh battery, 5 MP back camera, 1.3 MP front shooter and measures 9.9 mm in thickness. It weighs 344 grams and it will be available in white, black, orange and blue.
