Last week Lenovo debuted a series of new tablets and now one of them has reached India. I’m talking about the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, that comes in an Android 4.4 version or a Windows 8.1 unit, with prices starting at $339.

The product has 8 and 10 inch versions with Full HD resolution and a quad core Intel Atom Z3745 processor inside. There’s an unique convertible design applied here and a new Hang mode. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8 inch comes with an 8 megapixel camera at the back with F/2.2 aperture and BSI sensor, plus a front 1.6 MP shooter. There are dual front large chamber speakers, as well as Dolby Audio and Wolfson Master Hi Fi codec.

This unit measures 7 mm in thickness, weighs 419 grams and also hosts 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s WiFi on board, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and a 6400 mAh battery, with up to 18 hours of usage. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10.1 inch packs a 10.1 inch Full HD IPS display, the same camera setup, but also a larger 9600 mAh battery.

RAM says the same and so does the connectivity and we get a clamshell Bluetooth keyboard dock. Obviously the price is higher for the bigger unit by about 40%.
