Somehow we never got around to testing the best Lenovo tablets out there, but we’ve managed to get hold of a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro unit and we’re unboxing it below, for your viewing pleasure.
This model was launched in September and it’s priced at $449 these days, probably through a reduction from the usual price of $499. The device is the first slate with a projector I’ve seen in action and it’s a 10 inch Quad HD powerhouse with an Intel Atom X5 processor inside. This model has Android 5.1 as the OS and comes inside the box with an USB cable, charger and manual.
The CPU is clocked at up to 2.24 GHz and Yoga Tab 3 Pro also brings 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE. We’ve got a microSD card slot in the mix, as well as a 10.200 mAh battery, offering up to 18 hours of usage. At the back we find a 13 megapixel camera, while upfront there’s a 5 MP shooter.
The standout point of the slate is its rotatable projector with DLP tech, able to project a 178 cm diagonal image on a wall or ceiling. We also get 4 JBL speakers, with Dolby Atmos technology and a multimode stand, that lets you use the device by hanging it on the wall, putting it upright for video watching or supporting it up for projector viewing.
We’ll be back with a full review ASAP.
